Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a plan and buying a file directly?
A plan gives you a recurring download allowance that covers most files. Files with their own individual price are sold separately and aren't included in any plan - you buy those once and they're yours permanently, whether or not you also have an active plan.
What happens when I run out of my plan's quota?
Once your base allowance is used up, plans that include a burst allowance let you keep going on its own separate cycle. After that, a fair-use cap (where one is set) stops further downloads until it resets. You can always upgrade to a bigger plan, or buy an individually-priced file directly instead of waiting.
Do unused downloads roll over to the next cycle?
No - your base allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle rather than accumulating. Burst and fair-use buckets, where a plan includes them, reset on their own separate schedule.
Can I use my plan on more than one device?
Yes, up to the device limit shown on your plan.
Do I need a plan to download every file?
No. Files that aren't marked Featured are free to download for everyone, plan or no plan. Featured files need an active plan - unless that specific file has its own price, in which case you buy it directly instead, with or without a plan.

What currency am I actually charged in?
Switching currency above only converts the displayed price for your convenience. Checkout always charges in USD, the site's billing currency.
How does auto-renew work?
Add a plan to your cart, then check "Auto-renew this plan" on the cart page before paying with card - your plan then automatically charges the same card and renews when it expires, no need to come back and buy it again. You can turn it off anytime from your account's Packages page, and you'll keep access until the period you already paid for ends. Auto-renew is only available when paying by card.
